With the new release of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, it time to add a few more guides.
First, I will start with the easy one, Updating my exsiting Desktop from 9.10 to 10.04.
Click on System / Administration / Update Manager
This should show the following.
Click on the Check button if the option to upgrade is not visable. Then Click on upgrade.
Read the release notes, and when you are ready - click upgrade.
You should see the following appear.
You will get a not about the end of support for some programs.
Click close. When prompted, click on Start Upgrade
Once again you should see the
Now Wait....about 40 Mins.
when Done, you make see the following screen, click Keep, and then Restart now.
Thats it, you've now upgrade to 10.04, have fun.
